Artist Bio

Pat Kefalas is a visual artist, graphic designer and children's book author/illustrator based in Sydney. She alternates between a wide variety of mediums, but more frequently she enjoys creating intricate graphite pencil drawings of a bizarre nature and surreal oil paintings. After graduating from her fine arts and graphic design studies (with the latter completed at Enmore Design Centre, Sydney), Pat continues professionally in her own graphic design studio, Artsy Fartsy.

Born and raised in Australia and with Greek heritage, Pat appreciated the visual arts from a very young age. Where many children would wish for toys from Santa, Pat would hope to receive art supplies! With ten years separating her from her older sister's age, Pat spent much of her time in effect as an only child and relying on her own imagination and creativity for amusement. Reams of paper and countless drawing mediums were used to fulfill her passion for art!

With just on twenty years working in graphic and product design, Pat has shifted to focus back on drawing and painting.
