Artwork Description

I am trying to capture a sense of calm amidst the wild nature of this painting. The abstract gestures are impressions of leaves, shrubs and trees from the native bushland landscape that surrounds where I live in Central Victoria.

Painting for me, is a a joy and a refuge, I love the exploration and the discovery. The hunt for hidden gems in abstract places. I am influenced by the sublime natural bush landscapes that surround me in Central Victoria.
