Artwork Description

I am trying to capture a sense of the wild patterning of natural forms in this painting. The abstract gestural strokes of paint are impressions of the leaves in the tree canopies of native bushland landscapes.

Painting for me, is a a joy and a refuge, I love the exploration and the discovery. The hunt for hidden gems in abstract places. I am influenced by the sublime natural bush landscapes that surround me in Central Victoria.
