Artwork Description

My etching portrait artwork celebrates the untamed spirit that lives beneath the surface. The bold, expressive lines and layered textures reflect the tension between strength and vulnerability, while the striking blue and black palette evokes freedom, imagination and emotional depth. My portrait is a reminder that our wildness is not something to hide, rather it's the source of our creativity, individuality, and resilience.
My artwork will resonate with people who embrace individuality, appreciate contemporary pop-inspired art and that love bold statement pieces that spark conversation and emotion.
I created this piece to capture that growing older doesn't mean losing curiosity, imagination, or a sense of wonder. This artwork is a celebration of remaining creatively free , embracing my untamed inner nature and allowing my imagination to guide my art without limits.

Artist Bio

For most of her working life, Patricia Concha has worked as a psychologist and social educator. She is now retired from her academic career.
When her mum became ill with breast cancer, Patricia began making doodles to make her mum laugh again. After her mum passed, Patrica then cultivated her newly found talent in watercolour and pencil portraits and abstract art, containing an intricate array of geometric shapes, doodles, squiggles, and distinct lines. Also, she has a flair for creating a story within the animals, faces, birds, and flowers she draws.
Patrica's eclectic art captures a collection of abstract, portrait, and pop street art drawings, and linocut, drypoint and photopolymer etchings.
