Artwork Description

My Magpie linocut printed on chine-colle paper creates a dreamy image of the magpie.
The bird, perched on a branch, looks up to the night sky with wonder, and a little butterfly is fluttering around it.
A magpie bird is so special and unique.
My print would go well in a bedroom or hallway or kitchen. It projects peacefulness, tranquillity and a whimsical quality.

Artist Bio

For most of her working life, Patricia Concha has worked as a psychologist and social educator. She is now retired from her academic career.
When her mum became ill with breast cancer, Patricia began making doodles to make her mum laugh again. After her mum passed, Patrica then cultivated her newly found talent in watercolour and pencil portraits and abstract art, containing an intricate array of geometric shapes, doodles, squiggles, and distinct lines. Also, she has a flair for creating a story within the animals, faces, birds, and flowers she draws.
Patrica's eclectic art captures a collection of abstract, portrait, and pop street art drawings, and linocut, drypoint and photopolymer etchings.
