Magpie Stargazer Ed. 1 of 2

My linocut etching captures a unique Magpie gazing at the stars. It wishes for a bright future and a long life.
My artwork was printed on decorative beige paper as a Chine Colle linocut technique.
I so enjoy drawing Magpie's, because they are very clever and unique Australian birds.
This print will hang nicely in a study, kitchen or hallway, even a child's bedroom.

For most of her working life, Patricia Concha has worked as a psychologist and social educator. She is now retired from her academic career.
When her mum became ill with breast cancer, Patricia began making doodles to make her mum laugh again. After her mum passed, Patrica then cultivated her newly found talent in watercolour and pencil portraits and abstract art, containing an intricate array of geometric shapes, doodles, squiggles, and distinct lines. Also, she has a flair for creating a story within the animals, faces, birds, and flowers she draws.
Patrica's eclectic art captures a collection of abstract, portrait, and pop street art drawings, and linocut, drypoint and photopolymer etchings.
