The Box

My ink drawing, with zig and copic pens, captures that life and death are so closely intertwined. The minute we are born, we are brimming with life and with a slither of death. Our lives are bound by time and each one of us is on a different time trajectory.
Gustav Klimt's Life and Death painting inspired me to include in my drawing the somewhat similar skeleton figure.
Not framed and can be packaged in a thick cardboard envelope.

For most of her working life, Patricia Concha has worked as a psychologist and social educator. She is now retired from her academic career.
When her mum became ill with breast cancer, Patricia began making doodles to make her mum laugh again. After her mum passed, Patrica then cultivated her newly found talent in watercolour and pencil portraits and abstract art, containing an intricate array of geometric shapes, doodles, squiggles, and distinct lines. Also, she has a flair for creating a story within the animals, faces, birds, and flowers she draws.
Patrica's eclectic art captures a collection of abstract, portrait, and pop street art drawings, and linocut, drypoint and photopolymer etchings.
