Stefania

Stefania, is part of a series of paintings called "Musas".

This series is based and inspired by womens in their homes just spending time by themselves surrounded by plants. Based on those little moments after getting home from work, on a lazy Sunday morning or in a rainy day. I have always like plants, specially inside someone home as they add a bit of green and happiness to the place so that's why I decided to add plants to this serie. For *Stefania* I prepared the canvas with gesso, acrylics as the colour base and added some details with chalk and oil pastels.

I did a Bachelor of Illustration about eight years ago as I grew up between colouring books, coloured pencils, markers, watercolours and other material that my parents used to give me all the time when I was a child and I always loved the illustrations on the children's books that I had so I wanted to become a children's book illustrator and I have been working as a freelance ever since.

I was also always intrigued by oils so about five years ago I started to experiment with oils and acrylics and I feel in love. As I'm still learning , I tend to jump between different styles and techniques but I mostly paint portraits of people mixed with a bit of abstract, nature and just thingy that comes from my imagination.
