Part of a large series of drawings based on the photography of John Ward on the City of Sydney archives, that I manipulate with a modern twist and add colour details to make it almost appear as a colour touch up of a black and white photo. I spend a large amount of time in photoshop pre preparing the drawing until I am comfortable with the balance of the composition and then begin to reproduce as a drawing, which is the 2nd part of 3 part process, with the digital remaster and Giclee print the final piece that follows this original drawing.
