Artwork Description

More in The small Copper Plate Etching series produced in 2015. My etching style greatly resembles the way I draw, which is highly detailed and using a crosshatch style. I have been inspired by the etchings of Rembrandt. It is from a series based on a day at The Entrance and my kids frolicking in Vera's Water Garden.

I have been painting and drawing since the mid 1980's. I took a hiatus' to start a family with my wife and for work related reasons. Ran a painting and decorating busines through the 90's through to 2010 when i returned to study and completed a Diploma in Concept Design and a Bachelor of 3D Art and Animation Degree through the Design Centre Enmore.
