Artwork Description

Zinc plate etching from an original pen and ink drawing. The etch was done over 3-4 passes before the result that you see. The etching process is a long and involved, requiring great patience. It is technical to do and then the hard work begins when you begin to print.

I have been painting and drawing since the mid 1980's. I took a hiatus' to start a family with my wife and for work related reasons. Ran a painting and decorating busines through the 90's through to 2010 when i returned to study and completed a Diploma in Concept Design and a Bachelor of 3D Art and Animation Degree through the Design Centre Enmore.
