Artwork Description

This is a strange one, But then if you have seen some of my other works STRANGE could be my middle name.

Remember the smell of POP CORN. It is a smell that you instantly remember from your child hood.
Well this Blue that I painted this piece with, is a blue that has stuck in my mind, like the smell of Pop Corn.
Let me explain :- In 1976 I bought a new VW Kombi ----- IN BLUE.
Hence the paintings name " 76 BLUE " As soon as I mixed this color I thought of my Kombi. STRANGE !!!!!!!. Told You.

The composition is something I have been toying with in my mind for a while.
I love working with different techniques and filling a canvas with bright vibrant colours.

This painting is 91 cm wide and 61 cm high and 4 cm deep. It weights 2 Kg. The edges are painted so there should be no need for a frame. It is finished with several coats of satin varnish, which enhances the colour and protects the paint.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.
