90 Seconds to Zero

In most cases it doesn't that long to go from hero to zero. In this painting it is 90 seconds to zero.
It is supposed to represent the ever diminishing spiral to oblivion.
A young bloke I know got on to drugs and his life is spiraling out of control. It is probably not a good topic for a painting, but it is representative to me.

Black and white is always great for contrast and a dramatic effect.
Apart from the sentiment behind the painting it is a striking piece, and it draws the eye to the ever diminishing center.

The painting is 122 cm wide by 91 cm high and 4 cm deep. It is finished with a satin varnish.
On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. it will be wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.
