Aurora at 21

My 10 year old granddaughter Aurora (named after my mother) was having a few ISSUES last years and was a bit of a hand full.
At that time I had the image of her being an absolute problem by the time see was 21 years old. Hence this painting with the exploding head of emotions.

MAY I SAY, that Aurora has calmed down now to be the most respectful, happy, loving, tolerant and beautiful young lady that any grandfather could ever wish for.

This painting is simplistic in it's presentation. This was done on purpose to show the angelic face with a problemed mind that was very spontaneous with her expression of emotions.

The painting is 61cm x 61cm x 4cm, it weighs approximately 1.5 Kgs. This painting is finished with a high gloss varnish.
On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
