Artwork Description

My first painting many years ago was textured base mixed media on canvas. This painting takes me back to that style. I just love painting with texture.
It is still a contemporary abstract style with dynamic contrast in the composition and colour. Love it!!!!

The painting is 61 cm wide by 91 cm and 4 cm deep. It is wired ready to hang.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It also has felt cushions to protect your walls.

Artist Bio

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
