Artwork Description

"BARRA"

I am a mad keen fisherman as well as an artist.
Barramundi are a very sort after fish for eating and for sport fishing. I personally am not keen on eating fish, but I love the sport of fishing.

With this painting I added my sport with my art.
I introduced the shape of the fish then painted the base coat with metallic colours and overpainted it with a fast movement of contrasting colour.
Then finishing the composition with a subtle grey outline of the fish's fins which give it more detail and a slight contrast.

This painting is 122 cm wide and 91 cm high and 4 cm deep. It is finished with a subtle satin finish that enhances the colour and protects the paint.
The edges are fully painted so a frame is not necessary, but it is your option.

On the back is a signed Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang
