Artwork Description

"Belford's Gold"
Once a upon a time when I was young, a friend of mine Mr. Belford had a beautiful water ski boat called Black Gold. We often went water skiing on our local waterways. It was a great time in our lives.

The black in this painting represents the boat in all its fluid motion on the water. And the gold is part of the boats colour scheme.
The white splash is me hitting the water after trying to ski bare foot. I never was really good at bare foot skiing, it was more like bare face skiing, as I hit the water repeatedly.

The painting is 122 cm wide and 91 cm high and nearly 4 cm deep. It weighs 2.5 Kgs. This painting is finished with a high gloss varnish which represents the glassy water conditions that are so good for skiing.
This painting is finished with a high gloss varnish which represent the shinny water, it also enhances the colour and protects the paint.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It also has felt cushions to protect your walls. It is also wired ready to hang.
