Artwork Description

After travelling the outback of Australia and seeing the aboriginal paintings on my way, I was influenced by the simplistic style of the aboriginal art.

I am not of aboriginal heritage but tried to show my trip in their style.

The main lines are the roads that we travelled and the smaller lines are the rough and sometimes narrow bush tracks that we took through the different colored country. The outback of Australia is a marvelous place to see, the topography and the color are amazing.

I keep thinking and Dreaming of the Bright places that we visited. Hence the name.

The painting is 91 cm high and 122 cm wide and 4 cm deep. It is finished with a subtle satin varnish to enhance the color and protect the paint.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushion to protect your walls.
