Artwork Description

I enjoy the freedom that comes with some paintings especially the abstract movements of random shapes and images. Caress that feeling with a minimal number of colours and something magical happens.
The base coat is grey and a splash of silver that will only appear if the light is right. Cover most of that with black brush strokes, then an over cover of white shapes and images using a transfer method.
And them what can I say but a distraction in yellow. Love it !!!!

This painting is 122 cm wide by 91 cm high and nearly 4 cm deep. This painting can be hung vertical or horizontally. Just ask and I will wire it as you wish. It is finished with a subtle satin varnish that enhances the colour and protects the paint.

On the back is a dated and signed Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.

Artist Bio

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
