Artwork Description

Just sometimes things don't exactly as planed. Well this painting is the fourth attempt at getting it right.

I just could not get the splash the way I wanted it. So I kept washing ( I should say hosed ) it off on the front lawn. Don't laugh, many have been hosed off.

This one is what I wanted. A splash that carried the paint in an abstract of motion.

Now the name. Well by the time I had it right I was going crazy. And basically as Forrest Gump said
" Crazy is as crazy does "
I still have a lot of fun painting these crazy ones.

This painting is colourful and vibrant, One can't help but have a close look at the abstract splash.

The painting is 91 cm high and 122 cm wide and 4 cm deep. It is finished in a subtle satin varnish that enhances the colour and protects the paint.

There is no need for a frame as the edges are fully painted.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.

Artist Bio

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
