Emperors Gold

This piece is special to me as it takes me back to the mixed media i used many many years ago.
I love the texture one can create with a mixed media of this nature. The depth of the media and the shadow lines bring out the character of the piece.
Gold is a favorite as well as Pearl White together with Metallic Emperor make a great combination of colour and contrast. Hence the name Emperors Gold. Hope you like it as much as i do.

This painting is 45 cm wide and 60 cm high and 1.5cm deep. It is varnished with a high gloss finish that enhances the colour and protects the paint.
On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
