Heart Strings

I was just finishing this painting in my studio/garage when my neighbour walked in and had his usual verbal swipe at me or my art, and said boy with the colours of that painting it will play at the HEART STRINGS of the ladies. Hence the name.
By the way I love having this big young guy as a neighbour.

This piece turned out exactly as I planned. A pascal apricot background, then a pale magenta finger painting with a main mid blue splatter feature . Finish it off with some Gold, Black and White feature lines and it looks stunning. A real eye catcher.

This painting is 122 cm wide 91 cm high and 4 cm deep. It is finished with several coats of satin varnish that enhances the colour and protects the paint.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
