Hong Inspired

A fellow Asian female artist that I know, flattered me the other day by telling me that she loves my free flowing, random, abstract , hard contrast painting style.

So after thinking about her comments I started to work on this piece, trying to put together all the generous attributes that this lady had mentioned.

This ladies name is HONG and I was INSPIRED by the comments.

Nearly all my paintings are a result of my interaction with someone or some event. If you have read some of my other art descriptions you see that all my paintings have a genuine story attached to them.

This painting is 91 cm wide 122 cm high and 4 cm deep. It weighs 2.5 Kgs. It is finished with a satin varnish that enhances the colour and protects the paint.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
