Artwork Description

"Lullah's Moo Moo"

Well this is a personal one. You see my mother used to wear those Hawaiian colourful Moo Moo dresses when we moved to the central coast in 1960. And this colour combination was her favourite. Her name was Lullah Aurora Smith. Yes I know the Lullah Aurora is a beautiful name but the Smith !!!! Well that's my dads fault.
You can guess were the paintings name of Lullah's Moo Moo came from.

The painting is another one of my controlled fluid style. I love using the Turquoise, Warm Yellow Copper combinations, real beachy look. Seeing that we lived on the beach at North Entrance.
Mum was a real beach lover.

The Painting is 122 cm wide by 91 cm high and 4 cm deep. it is finished in a subtle satin varnish which enhances the colour and protects the paint.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It will be wire ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.

Artist Bio

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
