Nixon's Manu

Well, if you have read my painting descriptions before you will know there is always a story to each painting.
If you look closely at the painting, this description will become clearer.
Another of my grandsons is called Nixon he is 12 years old, and he always jumps into my swimming pool and does a bomb/splash called a Manu.
This bomb splashes the pool salt water on to the plants around the pool and they look pretty sick.
The painting shows the blue water and splashes the green plants and Nixon wearing his compression suit because last year he had an accident and got terribly burnt.
The dark blue hammer above his head is what I tell him I will use on him if he keeps splashing and killing my plants. Joking of course.
My grand children are the light of my life.

This painting is 122 cm x 91 cm and nearly 4 cm deep. the painting is finished with a gloss varnish which enhances the colour and protects the paint.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity, Authentic - who else paints stories like this one!!!!!
It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
