Artwork Description

Well if you have seen some of my ARTTTT you must realise I am a BIT different. That's O K so they say ????
My greatest joy is my family ( and fishing ). So the other day when my grandson Nixon was telling me that he had a Math Exam coming up and he was not sure how he was going to go.
Well the grandfather talk went on the lines of "just do the best you can".

He did look a little concerned about the out come of the exam which gave me the idea to play with this painting. He is a fantastic 14 year old, caring, considerate and catches some VERY LARGE fish with his POP.
And he is a much better kid than this painting portrays.
Bye the way he achieved 80% in that Math Exam. Proud POP.

The painting is 91 cm wide 122 cm high and 4 cm deep.

It is wired ready to hang. It is finished in a gloss varnish which enhances the colour and protects the paint.

On the back is a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Artist Bio

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
