Artwork Description

I am a mad keen fisherman that is why some of my artworks feature fishy things.
Usually I paint more abstract art than realism art but this time I am trying to impress the best realism artist in my local art society.
Anyway I had a play around with painting this jumping Sailfish.
As I have said many a time, I am not a real artist I just play with coloured paint.
And have a lot of FUN.

This painting is 122 cm wide 91 cm high and 4 cm deep. It is wired ready to hang and is finished in a gloss varnish which enhances the colour and protects the paint.

On the back is a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Artist Bio

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
