Artwork Description

Patience is a virtue especially when you are fishing.

Being a very keen fisherman myself I have a lot of Patience. Being by the sea with the wind and salt spray on you gives you time to think and have some solitude with nature. Fish are a bonus.

Fishing and painting are my passions these days.

This painting has a mixed media base to give it some definition and acrylic paint to give the colour. The edges are fully painted so an external frame is your option.

The painting is 122 cm wide and 91 cm high and 4 cm deep. It weighs approximately 3.5 Kgs.
It is wired on the back, ready to hang.
On the back is a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Artist Bio

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
