Artwork Description

Some times, just some time when I am going through a ruff patch with my " Private Thoughts " the best thing for me to do is PAINT.

This piece is an expression of my inner self.
Simple, warm, a bit of character but straight to the point. I do believe they are my personal character traits.

The painting is 61 cm wide 91 cm high and 4 cm deep. And is approximately 1.5 Kgs in weight.

It is wired ready to hang and is finished in a subtle satin finish.

On the back is a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Artist Bio

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
