Original Artwork's Description

"RACING THE STORM"

While fishing one evening on the beach I saw a sailing regatta heading north and a very dark storm not far behind them, so I thought that it would make a great painting.

In me usual style it is very dramatic in contrast. The wind blown seas and the speed of the yachts and the dark ominous clouds chasing them . It is as if they are racing the storm to safety.
By the way we really got wet fishing that night.

My wife loved the movement of the sea and the speed of the yachts and wanted it for our home..... But we don't have any more space on the walls.

The painting is 121 cm wide and 91 cm high and 3.7 cm deep. The edges are fully painted, so there is no real need for an external frame. It is finished in a subtle Satin varnish which enhances the colour and protects the paint

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity and is wired ready to hang. It has felt cushions to protect your walls.
