Artwork Description

The influence behind this painting came from two delightful young girls that attended my last exhibition.
Their names were SAIGE and SOPHIE . Hence the paintings title.

Now comes the fun part.

Saige told me her name was spelt S A ( I ) G E . Now this 7 year old girl, had the confidence, direction, good attitude, speech. poise, common sense, and did I mention confidence of a 27 year old CEO of an international company. If you get my meaning. And her 5 year old sister Sophie. And their Dad.

They both looked around my exhibition, then came back and commented on my choice of beautiful colours on one of my other paintings.

I then told them that I would paint another painting using the colours that they had suggested.
AND FOLKS HERE IS THE PAINTING CALLED "SAIGE and SOPHIE" ------ TRUE.

The painting is 91 cm wide by 122 cm high and 4 cm deep. It is finished in a gloss varnish that enhances the colour and protects the paint.
The edges are painted so there is no real reason for a frame. Your choice.

On the back is a Signed Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang.

It REALLY looks better in the flesh than the photos, and would look fabulous in and situation. I have tried at home.
