Artwork Description

This painting is one of my early plaster based works made in 2008.

Growing up on the beach at North Entrance NSW where my parents home backed on to the beach, was a fantastic stage of my life. Surfing, fishing and spending most of my time enjoying the beach life.
On our property were several huge Norfolk Island Pines.

I still go to that beach to be in the water and to fish nearly ever week. Something I have done for the last 60 years. Yes I did say 60 years.
The name of the painting Sea Sun Sand - Happy Man , really sums up my feelings I have for this place. Even though I have not lived in my parents house for many years, the whole area to me is still HOME.

I still use this painting as the LOGO for one of my current businesses.

The painting is 100 cm wide x 75 cm high and 4.5 cm deep.

I have enjoyed this painting for many years now and I think it is time someone else enjoys it as well.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.

There is no need for a frame as the edges are painted.

This painting will be shipped in a crate for your protection.

Artist Bio

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
