Artwork Description

O K here we go again.
School holidays, GRANDKIDS and a lot of fun.
The grandkids are in with Nan cooking multi coloured Muffins. With SESAME SEEDS on top ???
I walked in and said WOW how colourful !!!!!

Out to the Studio / garage, pulled out a canvas and started.

I called the kids out to have a look. Most said great colour Pop ! BUT one said he would rather have a real muffin, turned around and walked inside to Nan and the Muffins.

Moral of the story : You can please some of the people some of the time. But you can't please all the people all the time.
Still it was a lot of fun.

This painting is 91 cm wide 122 cm high and 4 cm deep. It weighs about 3 Kgs.

It has a wire across the back and the edges are fully painted so an external frame is your option but not necessaryily needed. It is finished in a subtle Satin varnish that enhances the colour and protects the paint.

On the back is a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
