Artwork Description

This painting is on a taupe coloured base. This taupe colour is close to a rice paper colour for the asian effect. The black brush strokes are in the style of the Chinese/Japanese Shodo calligraphy. The pale white strokes are a subtle see through over layer to add movement and harmony to the painting.
Again i am using a pig haired brush which give a beautiful dry brush finish. The painting is finished in a subtle satin varnish which enhances and protects the paint
This painting is 122 cm wide and 91 cm high and 4 cm deep. Painted edges complete the balance.
The Tuape base is compatible with most wall colours to enhance the asian theme.
On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired and ready to hang with felt cushion to protect your walls.

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.
