Not that I am a real romantic guy, but my wife and I have been married for 49 years.
This painting is an unreal snapshot of our marriage as we have been married for 49 years but we have been disagreeing for 55 years. But I still love her tooo bits.
We might not be as young as the painting portrays, as grey hair has replaced the dark hair.
Still the figures in the painting are showing signs of maturing.

This painting is textured, which gives the painting a great deal of depth.

This is a painting of enduring love.

The painting is a mixed media on canvas, It is 91 cm wide and 122 cm high and 4 cm deep. It weighs approximately 4 Kgs
It is wired ready to hang and is finished in a subtle satin varnish that enhances the colour and protects the paint.
On the back is a signed Certificate of Authenicity

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
