Wild Mind. Yep, that just about describes me.

I just love trying something different. Basically all my art is different.

I started this painting with something pretty, but it just was not me. So I started over again and this is the result, which is more my character. Should I say ARTISTIC STYLE.

On a serious note, this painting took a lot of time. The object was to have a high contrast, colourful with balanced visual characters. In a very busy, individual style. Most of all, it was a lot of fun.

The painting is 91 cm wide 122 cm high and 4 cm deep It weighs approximately 3 Kgs. It is wired ready to hang and is finished in a satin varnish, which enhances the colour and protects the paint.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It also has felt cushions to protect your walls.

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
