This composition is part of a series of abstract paintings I completed back in 2016. The theme of this body of work is based on the formation of the universe following the Big Bang event. Each shape/symbol represents a new particle of matter, waiting to take on form and purpose. These works have a resemblance to the abstract paintings and fabric designs, commonly found in the mid β century Modernist period of the 1950βs where everything was new, much like when the universe as it was forming into what it is today.
This artwork could suit many interiors that have either a retro or contemporary styling or could be used to simply brighten up a wall or become a conversation piece.

Artwork Description
Artist Bio
I'm a high school Visual Arts teacher (25 years). My body of work is largely inspired by the works of John Coburn, Wassily Kandinsky, the early works of Jackson Pollock and Willem de Kooning. Recurrent themes in my body of work are bases on aspects of the universe and the biblical connection to the Big Bang theory.
