I painted these three bright Australian parrots on a fence in front of a barn to give them "that country feel". Seen and heard all over Australia they have the affectionate nickname “Red Larry”. I positioned this group to give the impression of a happy group chat. I loved using the bright colours of red and vivid blue to portray the vibrancy of these outstanding parrots. With the softness of the airbrush background I was able to push the subjects forward to give the impression of depth of field.
