Mixed media on acid free stretched canvas unframed ready to hang, signed on front. These cute Whistlers are found predominantly on the south and east coast of Australia. The male having the black head and yellow feathers has a distinctive look and the female is usually quite plain. I tried to depict them in a cute and inquisitive manner on a farm fence post. I particularly concentrated on the composition to portray them seemingly chatting with each other.
