Mixed media on acid free stretched canvas, ready to hang and signed on the front. Of all the Cockatoos in Australia this pink and white Major Mitchell comes close to being the prettiest. The pale pink face feathers stand out from the white body, the crest of yellow and red is very distinctive and particularly striking when the crest is up. They look spectacular in a flock and it is a sight to see when hundreds are flying.
