The Australian Peregrine Falcon’s markings may differ from their overseas cousins but they still share the incredible speed of flight and aggressive approach to capturing prey that makes them the fastest bird of prey on Earth. I painted this bird on a cloudy background to emphasise the dramatic white and black markings.
