This work will be on display at the Bluethumb Gallery in Richmond, Melbourne for the 2023 Bluethumb Art Prize Finalists Exhibition from October 11th to November 27th. Delivery of this work will take place following the 2023 Bluethumb Art Prize Awards Night on October 26th.

I used the same style that I used in 1991 to do the Australia Post stamp series where the image actually projects out from the borders. These beautiful little Robins are found on the east coast of Australia and the pretty pink and grey leads to a very soft image. I particularly enjoined these colourful characters in playful positions as they tend to congregate in groups and each one shows a different personality with their bobbing and weaving.
