Mixed media on acid free stretched canvas, ready to hang and signed on the front. Of the five species of swallows in Australia this is the most common. They are lightning fast and have a pleasant twittering call. Their nests can create a mess under utility wires and porches and are often seen in groups on wire fences. The rusty coloured throat is predominant and stands out from the indigo body feathers.
