Making Hay

This painting is based on a frequently viewed scene in the Fleurieu Peninsula... farmers hard at work gathering the hay. It's a beautiful time of the year and I had to capture the incredible light. The painting is on a deep edge canvas and is ready to hang.

Paul is a self-taught award winning artist and photographer. Travelling extensively from a young age has provided Paul with the inspiration and material for his photography and art making. He paints 'en plein air' whenever possible, but equally enjoys time in his studio where he works in various mediums, including oil, gouache, watercolour and charcoal. Paul will be delighted to welcome visitors to his working studio as soon as he moves to his new location on Hindmarsh Island.
