Artwork Description

I enjoy the freedom that painting in an abstract style gives me ... for this piece, I was inspired by the warm colours of a summer sunset. There are 2 canvases, each one is 30 cm x 30cm. I have shown the piece hanging vertically, but it could be hung horizontally. The work could be framed, but these deep edge canvases look great hung as they are.

Paul is a self-taught award winning artist and photographer. Travelling extensively from a young age has provided Paul with the inspiration and material for his photography and art making. He paints 'en plein air' whenever possible, but equally enjoys time in his studio where he works in various mediums, including oil, gouache, watercolour and charcoal. Paul will be delighted to welcome visitors to his working studio as soon as he moves to his new location on Hindmarsh Island.
