Artwork Description

I painted this caricature of Scott Morrison holding out a lump of coal as an entry for the Solar Art Prize 2020 - and I was delighted to win the caricature section with the piece. One of the coalition's often used phrases from 2019 was 'we're back in the black' as a catchy way to communicate the first budget surplus in over a decade... at the same time, Scott Morrison continued to support the coal mining industry.

This watercolour will need to be framed behind glass.
