Artwork Description

Images represented were traced from a photo book. This is an amazing and beautifully lovely print by the artist. There is a water mark light type shadow running through the image which highlights the interest and enthusiasm for the art work. There are many types of bovine represented in the print. It was created as an etching n a metal plate. The print represents family and warmth.

Artist Bio

Paula Reilly is an artist and a musician. She loves to paint nudes and mythological creatures but also creates art of many subjects such as flowers, portraits, animals and abstract art. She has studied for several years of Tafe Art School. The artist has created many artworks has a huge collection. She has recently been enthusiastically working on her arts practice again after having a break from it to concentrate on music for several years.
Paula likes to practice drawing, painting, print making, digital art, video creation, photography. The artist is currently developing a series of time lapse videos displaying her art work in its creative stages. The artist uses many mediums such as graphite, charcoal, oil pastels, soft pastels, acrylic paint, oil paint, water colour paint and pencils, colour pencils, ink, markers, gouche paints. She loves to resource new types of mediums and techniques to develop her ever expanding knowledge of the arts.
Paula is also a musician, comedian, author and has a avid appreciation for out door exercise such as bush walking and bike riding. She also makes outdoor adventure videos and does a lot of botany and landscapes photography, of which she will use at times in her video art. She loves to practice the art of fire dance and also makes video of this with her music.
