Strumming my Mandolin

This is no 2 of my musical instrument paintings, the Mandolin, being played amongst flowers. Studies show music can promote growth in flowers. I love the thought of this.

I have always had an interest in art and colour. My style blends representational with non naturalistic colours. My colour choices are inspired by my emotions and feelings. I find that working with a kaleidoscopic palette of colours is where I thrive creatively. I incorporate various other elements of nature and the human form into my paintings.
