My painting features a Cathedral quarry / cave in England, painted in vibrant and bold warm tones with pops of green. Included is a small grotto. This is my second painted cave. They are fascinating to me as they are made mostly by rocks that have reacted with nature to form beautiful spaces filled with gems, crystals, bands and veins running through them. This interest stems from my school years, one of only three girls in geology class.
