Artwork Description

Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed certificate of authenticity.

A fierce overnight storm had breached the entry to Grants Lagoon, Binalong Bay Tas and uncovering many large rocks. The following evening many of the locals were checking out the beach.
This painting is vibrant with the colours of orange lichen sandstone rocks. I painted a few rocks a brilliant blue to exaggerate the contrast in the the colour scheme and compliment the sea. The texture was created by mixing oil paint and sand and applying with a pallet knife.
It's this scheme that would enhance any room providing a relaxing walk after perhaps staring at a computer, especially if you are working from home in this time Covid.
